Title: Pepper Burgers

1 | lb | Very lean ground beef; |
1 | Egg white; | |
3/4 | oz | Wheat germ; |
1 | c | Red and/or green pepper; chopped finely |
1/4 | c | Tomato sauce; |
1/4 | ts | Garlic powder; |
1/4 | ts | Dry mustard; |
1 | pk | Beef broth mix; |
Pepper to taste; |
Mix all ingredients, shape into 4 patties. Place on rack in broiler pan or on grill and cook 3 incehs from heat about 5 minutes per side, or until done to taste.
Per serving: 23g protein, 16g fat, 6g carb., 423mg sodium, 70mg chol., 259 calories.
